Damian Fozard is a technology entrepreneur, computer scientist, mathematician, and philosopher whose work spans artificial intelligence, information theory, decision theory, and philosophy. He is Co-Founder of the Cognitive Information Theory Research Institute (CITRI) and Founder and Chairman of Squint Cognition — organizations dedicated to advancing research and practical architectures for reliable autonomous AI systems. Fozard describes his professional identity in order of intellectual motivation: computer scientist, mathematician, philosopher, and entrepreneur — the latter being the vehicle that enables pursuit of the former.
Kenneth (Ken) Wenger is an AI researcher, computer scientist, and technology leader whose work spans explainable AI, deep learning, safety-critical systems, and the theoretical foundations of machine cognition. He is Co-Founder of the Cognitive Information Theory Research Institute (CITRI) and Founder & Chief Technology Officer of Squint Cognition — and previously served as Senior Director of Research & Innovation at CoreAVI, where he worked alongside Damian Fozard for over a decade.
Nicole Beauregard is a dietitian and health care leader with over 25 years’ experience in Canada and the UK. She has worked in both the public and private health care sectors focusing primarily on neurology, maternity and cancer care. For 10 years she worked in the pharmaceutical industry in both sales and medical research.
In British Columbia she has worked at Fraser Health, Providence Healthcare and Vancouver Coastal Health as a health care manager and leader. She has used her coaching skills to help her manage her staff and time and major catastrophes as the administrator on call.
In 2013 Nicole founded Think Agile Leadership, a training organization to help managers and leaders reach their full potential through leadership training and coaching. Her extensive knowledge and experience of behavioural science help individuals, teams and organisations tackle communication and culture challenges through a coach like approach. She believes everyone is good at something if you take the time to listen.
Nicole was the president of the International Coaching Federation Vancouver Chapter in 2024 and is actively involved in the professional development and mentoring of coaches. Nicole holds a MSc from Kings College, London and is PhD candidate in Organisational Leadership.
